The importance of maintaining a daily routine.


So many of us thrive on having a routine, and in normal circumstances, we each have one, but like so many aspects of life, even that has been taken away from us…at least a routine we have been used to has.


Being unable to go to work is throwing our daily lives into disarray so creating a new routine you can temporarily live by is hugely important. Continue to set a morning alarm, have your normal breakfast routine, if you’re able to work from home, structure your day as you would if you were in your place of work, and of course, if you have a regular day/time you would normally go to the gym, keep that in your diary and workout at home instead.


We are creatures of habit and having a routine, albeit a slightly different one, will help get you through these next few weeks.
