Is weight loss a linear process?


No. Life happens. Slip-ups occur. You go on holiday. Christmas comes around, etc.


All of the above can be reasons why your weight loss won’t go in a straight line. But the better prepared you are for this to happen, the more likely you will be to stay focussed outside of these derailments and achieve your goal, it may just take a little longer than you first anticipated and that’s OK!


I’ve taken a snapshot of just 2 of my clients’ weight loss results over the past 6 months and you can see from these images that events have come up that have had an effect on their progress. But, what you can also see if that after these events, they have got back to their good habits and the progress continues. The more consistent you are with your efforts, the faster you will see results. So don’t panic if a life event gets in the way from time to time, enjoy them, just get back in the saddle as soon as you can afterwards.
