Are New Year's resolutions a waste of time?

When was the last time you made a New Years resolution that you actually stuck to?


You have good intentions for the first few days of the year, maybe a week, but by the end of January, you've all but given up and nothing has changed.


Instead of making resolutions, start the year by creating a new habit, but make sure it's a small habit that you can easily implement into your life daily. It could be something as simple and drinking a glass of water as soon as you wake up, topping up those hydration levels after a good night's sleep.


By incorporating just one small change at a time until it becomes the norm means you're far more likely to stick with that change long-term which in turn, will help you reach your goals.


So, forget resolutions this New Year, create habits!
